Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Kieninger
University of Würzburg
Eva-Maria Kieninger studied law at the University of Passau and at King’s College, London. She received her PhD in 1996 from the Free University, Berlin. She was a researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for private international law and comparative law at Hamburg from 1997 until 2001. Her Habilitationsschrift, published in 2002, focuses on the prospects of a competition among legal systems in European private law. She has been a professor of German and European Private Law and Private International Law at the University of Würzburg since 2001.
