Bye Bye BGB?

Dr. Susanne Knöfel

Since 2004, Dr. Susanne Knöfel is working as a national expert in the office for protection of the legal, economic and other consumer interests. This office is located in the General Department for Health and Consumer Protection of the European Commission in Brussels. She studied law in Hamburg and received her LLM in International Business Law from the London School of Economics. She became a civil servant at the Ministry for Justice in 1997. From 2000 to 2002 she worked as an attaché in the legal affairs department at the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the European Union in Brussels.
Dr. Susanne Knöfel will speak about  The Political Initiatives: The Commission's Action Plan on a More Coherent European Contract Law.
