Prof. Dr. Christina Ramberg Gothenburg University



Professor Christina Ramberg is professor of Commercial Law at the University of Göteborg, Sweden. She has also been a professor at the University of Utrecht (holder of the G.J Wiarda Chair). She has lectured at many European and US universities. Professor Ramberg has written extensively within the areas of general contract law, special contract law and electronic commerce. She was head of the Swedish delegation in the UNCITRAL Working Group on Electronic Commerce 1996 – 2001 and has been an adviser to the European Commission on Business-to-Business Internet marketplaces. She is a member of the Coordination Committee in the Study Group for a European Civil Code. Apart from academic activities, she is a member of the board of several larger Swedish companies and as an arbitrator in national and international disputes.

Prof. Dr. Christina Ramberg will speak about the  Academic Initiatives for Further Harmonsitation and will give an introduction and a presentation to this topic
